Product Review: BH Haul

I can't say I've always been impressed with bh cosmetics. I was told about them a couple of months ago, looked around the site and was not impressed. In my head, cheap make up means bad quality and their make up is as cheap as it gets! So, I was annoyingly prissy and didn't give them a second thought.

I watch a lot of Youtubers that do make up tutorials and even though sometimes they do post where they got the item, more often than not, they don't. So I was overjoyed when I finally figured out who the creator of the blush palette I had been wanting for SO LONG, but, to my surprise, it was bh cosmetics.

Surprised with my discovery, I decided to give bh cosmetic's website another look. I ended up with a bag full of stuff I couldn't wait to try. (I was tracking my order every day - quick shipping!)

So this is a review of the items I bought - I hope you enjoy! :)

This is the professional blush palette that I was so desperate for! As you can see it comes with a ton of different blushes which is perfect to mix up your looks and being able to keep the color sets you come up with. There are more than one of these with different shades (I'll be buying that one too.) Not only are the pigmented but they're true to shade as well. I truly was not expecting to like this palette as much as I do. I wouldn't say it's my go to blush but they definitely broadened my blush collection and helped me add some colors that I couldn't find the right shade of. Overall, it's worth the $8.50 it costs. (Insane, I know.) Buy them here and here

I am going to tell you right now, I had no desire to buy this palette but certain colors stuck out to me that I wanted to try out (i.e. aphrodite, mars, moon, pluto and sun.) So far, I'm not too thrilled with this palette. Althought the colors look pretty, they aren't all that pigmented and they don't come out looking anything like the color you think you'll be getting. The top left although orangey/gold is actually baby pink.  Aprodite is more of a faint red/pink and the moon has purple undertones - so you end up looking like you used a lilac. I do like the palette, I'll continue to use it but not when I have a specific color in mind because with this one, I'll never really know what I'm getting until I get used to what the colors actually look like. If you'd like, you can buy it here
I used to be super against cream based color palettes but figuring this one was so cheap, I felt as if it wasn't that big of a risk to go ahead and buy it. I still stand by my previous opinion of cream based contour - makes my skin oily and I feel too cake-ish. I'm on the search for the perfect cream palette for my skin type! It covers well so I think maybe if you have dry skin and like a heavier coverage option, this would be a really good palette for you. I am not in need of a lot of coverage, I like a lighter option for my skin. It's really smooth and a great dark spot/acne cover. I was originally drawn into the color options it has available. Not a lot of palettes will have that type of color variety. I do think it's a good buy, but if you have oily skin, know how to do your make up so it doesn't cake on and use a good base and setting powder, it'll work out just fine. Buy it here
I was pleasantly surprised by these brushes. I really like the feel of them and they're really easy to use. I would say they're a good traveling type of brush as well. They work just as well as some of my higher end brushes and they weren't even close to the price. They're really great blending brushes and I use these more than my previous brush sets when it comes to blending my powders and liquid bases. I would honestly compare them to sigma brushes. Great buy - go buy them here here
You need this brush. I refuse to use any other brush for my foundation &/or bb cream. It leaves a flawless finish and is my new go-to brush. I couldn't be happier with his buy. It's a lot like the Mac brush but is said to shed less (if at all!) Mine hasn't shed at all yet but there are some reviews on it shedding (maybe people can't take care of their brushes?) the bristles are perfect because the liquid foundation doesnt sink in and the powder sits right on the tips. Besides, 45 dollars or 6.50? You pick! Buy it here
Last but not least, Wild Child Baked Eyeshadow Palette! I saved this one for last because there's not a single thing wrong with it. It's really pigmented, easy to blend and I was drawn in by the great array of colors. It's such an easy palette to mix with each other and with it being baked, it's the perfect amount of shimmer for your day-to-day looks. I love the neutrals and the plumbs. Has a very smooth application and blends well. I would definitely recommend this palette. Buy it here

Well, that's all! I know it was a smaller haul but I hope you enjoyed it! Let me know which products are your favorites and whether or not they worked for you! I'd love to hear back from you all.
Have a great day xo
